Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.
It has a variety of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8, you can use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and needed to turn to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and put the debris in the self-sealing bag. This keeps the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. The battery lifespan is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers that are available. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are close to soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money on Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's extremely fast and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take photos of any object it comes across (i.e., chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. affordable robot vacuum are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
